HOW DOES ONE BECOME A QUANTITY SURVEYOR?

WHERE CAN ONE STUDY QUANTITY SURVEYING?

You can study quantity surveying at numerous Universities and Universities of Technology located in most of the major centres within South Africa. For a full list of these tertiary institutions currently accredited by the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP), please click here.

There are other non-accredited tertiary institutions that also offer quantity surveying programmes, but these are not listed here and details of same are available on request from the offices of the ASAQS (telephone 011 315 4140).

The University of the Free State is the only South African institution that offers a distance learning course in quantity surveying.
