GAUTENG YEAR-END FUNCTION
Dear All,
I would like to thank you all for the invitation to attend the Gauteng Year End Function on the 18th. It was really great to have been in your midst and to share a lovely evening with you. Great meal, great company and great venue.
As we are nearing the end of the year, allow me to thank you all on the Gauteng Chapter committee for the great work that you have all done during the year and for furthering the QS profession in your Chapter specifically and in the marketplace generally. Your efforts are appreciated and acknowledged. Well done and thanks.
Regards
Egon Wortmann EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - ASAQS

RECOMMENDED STUDENT REMUNERATION: 2009
The Gauteng Chapter Committee has determined the following recommended scale of remuneration for students for 2009. The scale is, for the time being, based on the 3 year BSc and 2 year BSc (Honours) curriculum of the University of Pretoria. A section for students at a University of Technology has been added for 2009. This is based on students working full-time in their second year and part-time during their B-Tech year.
