Most of our members have reacted positively to our new website and are already finding their way around the new functionalities built into the site. For those who have just discovered that the old website has been laid to rest at the ripe old age of 15, we have a short tutorial to assist you.

CLICK HERE FOR A SHORT TUTORIAL TO GET YOU STARTED

Members can now log on andmanage a dynamic member profile, collaborate on projects, share ideas and expertise – and, most importantly, connect with your fellow ASAQS members and with the ASAQS head office. Share, collaborate, exchange and grow – will be our motto on this site.

The new website is basically a front-end to our new YourManagement (YM) database. The information displayed when you initially log on will be what was imported from our old database. Please make sure that your information is correct and if not, please update your profile. If our accounting records reflect an incorrect balance, contact us so that we can correct it.

CONTACTING THE ASAQS

Members can still contact the ASAQS by phone or e-mail or can now make use of the "Email the Exec Director" facility. To make use of this facility click on"About Us" in the top menu, then on "Contact ASAQS". All communications via this facility are captured on the database and assigned to one of the staff members to deal with it.

LINKS TO OLD INFORMATION AND YOUR OLD CUG PASSWORD NO LONGER WORK

Please note that the Classifieds, Calendar and links to the old website are no longer operational.Nor will your old CUG username and password work on this site.

The old CUG has been replace with Member Only Resources. The pages containing these resources are available from the menu after a member has signed in.

Please browse around to familiarise yourself with the layout of the site.

CLASSIFIEDS REPLACED WITH THE NEW CAREERS CENTRE

The Classifieds on the old website has been replaced with a careers centre where career openings will be advertised in future.

If you wish to recruit a quantity surveyor or other professional then click on the Career Centre where you will notice a link to "Submit an Opening". By clicking on the link you will open up a form which needs to be completed. Complete the form and submit - it's as easy as that!

The Careers Centre is available to place any available CONSTRUCTION-related positions FREE OF CHARGE.

Browse to the Careers Centre for full instructions on how to place an opening, search for potential candidates and what work-seekers should do to make themselves available online. Work seekers can now also subscribe to the Careers Centre to be notified immediately of any new positions posted.

ADVERTISING EVENTS

All ASAQS events will now be displayed on the Calendar on the home page. External event providers should register, then log onto our external community where they will find an events calendar they can use.

ALL events, whether internal or external will still be showcased in our weekend newsletter, The Weekend Property and Construction News, which is sent to over 5,500 subscribers in the built environment.
