The National Department of Public Works Calls on Retired Construction Project Managers

The National Minister of Public Works, Mr Thulas Nxesi is spearheading the implementation of a turnaround strategy for the Department. Key to the strategy is improvement of the delivery of capital and planned maintenance projects to client departments within time, quality and budget.

The Department is in a process of establishing project teams to manage the implementation of construction projects for each client department.

The Minister hereby calls on qualified and professionally registered retired Construction Project Managers specialising in the areas below to submit their CVs to the National Department of Public Works for consideration for appointment as Project Team Leaders.

• Civil/Structural Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Architecture
• Quantity Surveying
• Construction Management
• Regional and Town Planning

Applicants must be registered as Professional Construction Project Managers with the South African Council for Professional Construction Project Management.
