The sixth edition of the Development Indicators (2012) that were approved by Cabinet recently is made available here for our members.

Quantitative measures are used to track progress made in implementing government policies. Themes covered include: economic growth and transformation, employment, poverty and inequality, households and community assets, health, education, social cohesion, safety and security, international relations and good governance. In addition, the report includes the information on demographic trends, transport infrastructure profile and energy, as annexures.

Readers of the report will find a wealth of information summarised with graphs and figures reflecting trends within these themes measuring government's success (or failure) in achieving their objectives.
