The CIOB’s Global Student Challenge has reached the stage where the six teams who have qualified for the final have been identified. These teams are invited by the CIOB to attend the final starting 9th July at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong. The final coincides with the CIOB’s Members Forum which will provide the Finalists with a varied, interesting and exciting experience where they will meet and engage with many senior Fellows of the CIOB and industrialists. This is great platform on which to plan a career.

The Global Student Challenge offers students a chance to learn skills to stand out from the crowd as well as an opportunity to compete head to head in Hong Kong to win mentoring from industry leaders and CIOB Past Presidents. The challenge is open to students based anywhere in the world on a built environment Bachelor’s degree level course.

We are extremely proud that team "Prestige Worldwide" from the University of Cape Town, comprising Brendan Ardagh (BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying 4th year); Alain Alexander (BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying 4th year); James Myburgh (BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying 4th year); Courtney Meyer (BSc in Construction Studies 3rd year) will be representing South Africa at this prestigious event.
