MEET THE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICAN QUANTITY SURVEYORS 2009/2010
INDRESEN PILLAY BSc (QS)
Indresen gained his basic training and experience at Davis Langdon in Durban, South Africa working mostly on commercial projects. Indresen has also had international exposure working on projects in Paris, Middle East and Hong Kong. He was involved in all aspects of quantity surveying functions. He is a Board member and President (2009/2010) of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors.
In 2002, Indresen became director in Durban where he was jointly in charge of management of the office and other KwaZulu Natal offices. Since 2006 Indresen has been based in Johannesburg as a Managing Director. He is involved in all aspects of cost and project management.
Indresen’s project expertise includes cost planning, procurement and cost management of major civil engineering and building projects in Africa.
His market sector experience includes office, retail, hotel, residential, education and health care schemes.

Professional Registrations: PrQS - Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) PMAQS - Professional Member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS)
