The 1 x 4-hour webinar will take place online on the 17 September 2020.

Webinar overview:

The purpose of the pre-exam webinar on PSM 13 - Manage risk on Built Environment projects, is to prepare the candidate for the Professional Skills Module exam. This 1 part webinar will include comprehensive sessions on the study guide and prescribed readings (where applicable) in preparation for the exam.


Webinar presenter:

Mark Massyn qualified as a Construction Manager from the University of Port Elizabeth and has worked in the Built Environment as a Construction Manager and a Project Manager on commercial projects, industrial projects and Breaking New Ground (BNG) housing projects.  He has also consulted to the mining, utilities and manufacturing industries on the application of project management systems, tools and techniques. He served on both the Construction and Quantity Surveying Standards Generating Bodies. He is currently the Regional Chair of The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) African Region and served on the CIOB International Member’s Forum.  He is also a member of the Joint Practice Committee in the Western Cape. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Construction Economics and Management at the University of Cape Town and also the Programme Convenor for the Master’s Programme in Project Management offered in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment.
