Dear Members,

We hope that your experience on our new website has been a positive one and that you are able finding navigating the various areas for both members and non-members a breeze.

There is a wealth of information currently available on our website with a view over the coming months to provide our members with even more useful information, bespoke educational courses and Association products.

The versatility of our portal has also allowed many of our members to view their opening balances on their individual membership accounts and to contact the office if these balances are incorrectly reflected. I am also pleased to report that many of you have indeed contacted us to report inconsistencies with these balances and assisted us towards rectifying these inaccuracies. In many instances the balances have been incorrect because of the difficulty we have had to assign the payment to a particular member either because not enough details were provided with the transaction or because we have failed in some way to capture the payment even after the transaction details were provided to the office directly.

My administrative aim over the next year is to rectify (with your help) these inconsistencies on the accounts. The big issue that the Association faces is that if a payment is not properly captured our members face termination for non-payment of their accounts. Our drive has always been not just to collect outstanding payments - but more importantly to rectify the accounts that are not correct, and ensure that our internal admin processes are managed to make this payment recording process as accurate as possible, and ensure that a member in good standing is not struck from our membership role because we have not managed to assign their payment.

For those of you that have contacted us to correct your accounts I personally thank you, apologise for the frustration that this may have caused and thank you for your understanding and patience. Upon completion of this process, the ASAQS will be able to ensure that we are able to provide every one of our members with accurate accounts, excellent membership service and create more value for every one of our members.
